Graduate certificate programs provide advanced study beyond the baccalaureate degree and are intended as both professional development and as an intermediate step towards a desired graduate degree.

Non-degree-seeking student admission is available to qualified applicants who wish to enhance their post-baccalaureate education but do doctoral dissertations in musicology seek a graduate degree. These students will complete a "Graduate Non-Degree Seeking" Application through the "Apply Now!
It is advisable to speak with a departmental academic advisor before enrolling in any graduate course. NOTE: Not all courses offered at the University are available for non-degree-seeking students. Non-degree-seeking students are not permitted to enroll in graduate courses in the Jennings A. Jones College of Business. Non-degree-seeking students who wish to change their admission to degree-seeking status must complete a re-enrollment application, which may include necessary program requirements for their application packet.
Once accepted into the degree program of choice, semester hours earned while a non-degree-seeking student may be applied toward the degree program as appropriate. Students wishing to apply will fill out an "Add On" application for the specific endorsement through the "Apply Now! Certain programs within the College of Education are available for add-on endorsements for non-degree-seeking students.
